Our products are all made from government inspected, human quality meats, vegetables and fruits. The eggs we use are farm fresh. The supplements are kelp (from the Eastern Coast of Canada) and alfalfa (grown for us in the Creston Valley of British Columbia).
We have tried to use vegetables and fruits which are easy to digest and have a broad spectrum of nutrients. Vegetables and fruits used in the dog food are: carrots, romaine lettuce, pumpkin and apples. We have been careful not to use vegetables that are known to cause “gas” or “staining”.
The protein sources (meats) used are: chicken, turkey, beef, elk and fish. We do not do “combination” foods – i.e. Chicken products contain only chicken as a protein source. Also, we do not use any by-products or meal, just the actual meat. Our poultry and fish products have the bone ground in with the meat. All products are finely ground for easy digestibility.
We do make three “levels” of products.
FULL MEALS consist of the meat, vegetables and fruits, liver, eggs, alfalfa and kelp. You should supplement with suitable oil – preferably animal/fish source and cold pressed.
VEGGIE/FRUIT COMBINATIONS include the meat, vegetables and fruits. You will want to add liver, eggs and supplements as well as an oil.
GROUND MEATS are just what the name infers, ground meat, which can be the basis for your own recipe for a diet.
We also do up a VEGGIE/FRUIT only product for those who wish to “do their own thing”, but do not have the time to pulverize the products. We use carrots, romaine lettuce, pumpkin and apples in this mix.
The CAT FOOD is made in chicken, beef and fish (we are planning on also doing turkey). Vegetables and fruits are: romaine lettuce and pumpkin. Kelp is also added. As with the dog food, you should use an oil.
We are now making "sausages”. These will be in 1 pound, ½ pound and ¼ pound, as well as the logs, which are 5 pounds. Cat food will continue to be in ¼ pound size.
We are always open to suggestions for improvements and product lines.
